Kahauiki Village

A visionary community project designed to transform the lives of Hawai‘i’s homeless—more than just transitional housing, Kahauiki Village was built to foster stability, dignity, and a true sense of belonging. Spearheaded by our founder, Duane Kurisu, the initiative aimed to guide residents toward long-term independence. Hawai‘i Home + Remodeling was honored to document the story and produce a special feature package for the village’s launch and grand opening.
